How to Change the Oil in a TaoTao ATV, Scooter, Dirt Bike, or Go Kart

Simple Instructions on how to change your Motor oil in a TaoTao PowerSports Machine

1. Heat engine for 5/10 Minutes.
2. Place drain pan underneath machine and remove 17MM plug on the bottom to drain oil from crank case.
3. With the drain plug still out take out the dip stick.
4. Clean off any debris from the drain bolt or on the screen*. (*Screen only applies to GY6 style engines and 250CC CG engines)
5. Place drain bolt back into the engine. Tighten to spec.
6. Find the correct amount and weight of oil you should be using in your machine.

7. Pour oil in through the dip stick plug hole.

8. Tap your dip stick in check the level of the oil on the dip stick to verify you have the necessary amount of oil in the engine.

9. Screw the dip stick back in and you are good to go!
